i have a soil moisture logger which is damaged and the the company closed so i have to repair myself, On the board there is a small SOT23 device with 5 terminals 3 terminals connected, marking on it is "C3EB", i guess it is a LDO but the pinouts are not matching with any LDOs as
LDO terminal 2...

EEPROM is easy but internal EEPROM space available is very less comparable to internal flash
Can i use the flash memory of a AVR microcontroller for data logging(temperature, time data), atmel published two application notes regarding this but these are not easy,
i cant get the page size and how to code in C for using internal flash, where the data will be stored and can be accessed...
Hello friends, thank u for response, i got it from google with hints from u all, that was a Device invented by Bernard D.H. Tellegen . this is the same man who invented Tellegen theorem
Thank u All

Hi all
i have found this circuit in a photo diode amplifier, but i cant understand whether it is a amplifier or a current limiter/source. The photo diode acts as the signal source, and output taken to a op amp.
i am trying to connect CP2021 device to a VNC2(viniculum-II from FTDI) in host mode, i am new to USB, i want to know what are necessary parameters of the device which the host should be aware of should aware of , as i have seen there are lot of descriptor.
They have provided two related...
i have seen most of the rotating laser receivers(used for grading or leveling) use transistors in preamp section. why do they choose transistors instead of opamp. i don't think they bother about cost and input bias current is not important because there are some op amps with pico amp bias...
i want a detail literature about how the electronic components behave when they are damaged. i have seen capacitors and diode some times they are open circuit and some times short circuited. How it affects if its burn by high voltage and how if its by static charge.
Any one please answer how...
i have seen one datasheet (section:humidity sensitivity and soldering)of a opamp suggested to heat the ic at about 80 deg C before soldering.

Thanks Keith for response
i have seen these in some patents , where they have used photodiodes with zero bias.

i am designing a laser receiver for detecting a rotating laser( less than 1us pulse at 600meter), now am using reverse biased photo diodes as it gives highest speed due to low capacitance, but
why most of the good companies in this field uses photo diode without any biasing?
