now i understand why i got strange results in the Ac analysis. but how much DC Offset. is there a way to calculate it or just use a typical value for example 1Volt.
in the DC analysis the circuit is biased properly. i am just asking about the RF and LO signals. should I apply them...
hello
i want to simulate a double balanced gilbert mixer with pspice, my questions are:
1) how can i make a DC analysis, i mean what kind of signals to you apply in the RF and LO input?
2) In the Ac analysis what signal do we apply in the LO input???
thanks
real op amp modeling in pspice
here is the code for the 741 OP AMP
hope this helps you.

if you want detail it is better to look for thesis
here is one that was very useful for me

hello
i have a few question about the Gilbert mixer. in the picture we have the basic gilbert mixer circuit
i read that
1) transistors M1-M2 should have overdrive voltage(Vgs-Vt) between 200mV and 400mV. why is that??????????
2) transistors M3-M6 should have overdrive voltage(Vgs-Vt)...
i want to simulate a MOS gilbert mixer in orcad
the problem is that i cant find a complete circuit .
i mean the basic gilbert mixer with all the biasing and the input output matching
does anyone have a complete circuit???
help in VCO circuit
i dont understand why when transistor is off the gain is 1 and when it is on the gain is -1.can you explain it??
also what does d1 do??
the circuit is a VCO
i know that OA2 is an integrator and the signal at Vz is trianqular
i also know that OA3 is an inversed schmitt trigger and the signal at Vy is square wave but i have some questions
what does OA1 do?
what does the transistor do (when it is on and off what happens)?
what...
