The best software to simulate reflectarray antennas with floquet ports is CST MWS.
You set the boundaries conditions of your element to unit cell , and select your incident angle of the floquet modes.
If you need further help on the subject , send me an message

The dimensions of the inner and outer radius of the coaxial feed determines the input impedance of your port.
Goto Macros -> calculate -> Calculte analytical input impedance
you will find there the coaxial feed , and work the dimension of your port to match your impedance , 50ohm for exp...
Transient Solver has nothing to do with your problem ,
Radiation efficiency is the ratio between realized gain and directivity --> Rad_eff = Direc/realized_gain (linear).
CST doesn't have a function to plot it versus frequency since it requires gain and direc for each freq , which are selected...
Hi guys . I work with reflectarray recently and i try to build 20*20 elements using microstrip patch antennas.
As a start i'm trying now to simulate 3*3 array fed by a horn antenna , i use CST MICROWAVE STUDIO 2008 .
the problem is that i can't find the farfield from the array , i always get...
