Does a 24v UPS provide longer backup than a 12v UPS with the same capacity batteries.
e.g if a 24v UPS (1000VA) is connected to 2 [12v 80AH] batteries in series it provides 1 hr backup at full load. Now what will be the theoretical backup time of a 12v 1000VA UPS connected to the same capacity...

I have built a cd4541 based timer. timing can be changed by setting a dip switch. while the timer is running, oscillator is monitored using Q1 2n7000 and LED.
After selected time the OUTPUT pin 8 is set high by timer. which in turn switches Q2 another 2n7000. and the output (jumper)...

how can i create a delay of 5 minutes with simple resistor and capacitor.
I read somewhere that it can be possible with a capacitor charging through a resistor but cannot make it work.
i have a circuit and i want it to trigger after 5 minutes of applying power and REMAIN...
