i have binary data taking 4 bits at a time iam storing data in variable how can i convert data to decimal . command bin2dec asks for a string can anyone help me for command for conversion.

when we combined n lines but transmit one at a time based on select line it is called multiplexing.
2*1 mux means two input lines but can transmit one at a time
