Re: synchronization
Hi Viju,
Thanks for your reply, but generally in a clock domain crossing the the data is sampled on a destination clock frequency. If u can give me a pictographic view it would be great.
u can send it to anildesh@gmail.com
Thanks In Advance,
Anil.
synchronization
Hi All,
I have one flop working at 100MHz now i want to send the q of flop1 tp flop2 working at 10MHZ how should i synchronize I just have to send a pulse so i should not use FIFO.
Thanks,
Anil.
Hi All,
can anybody send me the link or e-book to download this book . I heard that this is an excellent book for VLSI engineers and it is treated as bible for IC engineers
I will be grateful if anybody sends me the link for free e-book download

Re: Why IC are black?
this is a good question .
well as far as i know the material which is used for packing is mica ,graphite so obviously there are black in color . and coming to cost analysis semiconductor companies are selling IC's at very cheap rates and they dont to escalte costs by...
it all depends on the industry standards. I recently heard that in japan a company is coming up with a technology using TCP/IP protocol for its vehicles
Re: Always Block
when you use always it means that all posedges of the clock this should happen. @() is just a conditional statement when you synthesize it may be then u will find the difference
set up time hold time problems
set up and hold time are the most important parameters when we are dealing with a synchronous design.
because the sanity of the input wrt to clk is very imp bcoz these parameters are applicable only for inputs.
for setup time and hold time violation in think...
