Re: Sounding the Channel.
Hi everybody
Anyone knows advantages and disadvantages of Direct RF pulse measurement.
can i use this method for ranges of 6-8 km.
thank you.
Thanks for your answers...
So, is it the only region that multipath has higher effects at lower frequencies because of antenna directivities (geometry)....
or, can we say also at higher frequecies, for example reflection from ground will be lower at higher frequencies (reflection constant)...
Hi everybody,
i could not find any clue about frequency dependence of multipath phenomena,
but, i am expecting that at high frequencies (over 2 GHZ up to Ku band) multipath
is more problemetic than at low frequincies ( 400MHz eg.)
Has anybody an idea about this.
also, what is the worst...
if u need a very narrow BW you must increase the direction of your antenna especialy your parabolic antenna.
For example in SAR (synthetic aperture radar)
the antenna of SAR is placed on a satellite or plane
so with the movement of stallite we can get a large antenna dimenson from a small...
uav satcom
any body have information about SATCOM applications on UAVs(unmanned air vehicle)
What will be the size of an antenna and what will be the elevation angle of an antenna for tracking a geosync satellite from latıtude 40 longitude 5
satellite is in latitude 0 longitude 5 and at a...
you mean i only use the output power of SSPA
So i must choose my transmitter and SSPA in order to not permit transmitter to distort the SSPA. Will be my transmitter output limited by SSPA input.
i.e my SSPA output is 43dBm and max input range is 10dBm
So there is no way to increase the 43dBm...
but if i add 30dB fade margin will may data link achieve transmission from 200km in bad weather conditions.
Can i establish a receiver+antenna system for sensing -100dB signal
or is -100dB signal is meaningless for data transmission
and what are the signal ranges that are sensed in systems...
What do you think about this system?
TX power output:43dBm(SSPA output power)
Antenna gain 15dB ( antenna is on airborne and directional)
RX antenna gain 34dB ( antenna is directional and tracking reflector antenna 1.2dia
max range 200km
bandwith 200MHz(spread spectrum )
Data rate 10.71 and...
thank you very much for your answers
it will be very helpful for me.
And i want to ask a question but a little general
is it possible to downlink data(45Mbps) from an airborne to a ground data terminal at a distance of 200km(LOS)
Antennas will be both directional
bandwith 200MHz Ku...
ıf i connect a SSPA (power amplifier) to my transmitter what will be the final power and gain
for example my transmitter has gain XdB and power oıtput YdBm
and my SSPA has gain tdB and power output UdBm
Will my SSPA input power limit transmitter output.
I mean for example my SSPA max. input is...
