i will build the brenner8 programmer but befor build it i need to know somthing , i dont have pic18f2550 and i search all electronics store here but
cant find it , so can i use pic18f4550 instead of pic18f2550 ?
offcourse i will assign the right pins to the new pic18f4550 ,like...

i have finished programing pic18f4550 with "hid" firmware .
now can any one tell me how to write a software using vb6 or vb.net to turn
on & off 8 leds connecting to any port of the pic ?

iam new here . and i hope to find a solution for my problem .
iam in this project from 1 year and i cant make it . the problem is iam trying
to convert 8bit serial data from serial port to 8bit parallel data (parallel form)
iam trying (74ls164) shift register and pic16f84 and more...
