    Reflection and transmission in FDTD

    Is there anybody who knows about calculating the reflection and transmission (coefficients) with a plane wave excitation in FDTD? Especially, i don't know about reflection because the incoming wave is mixed with it. I think I should extract the reflection wave from the total field. But it's not...

    problem about adi FDTD 1D program

    numerical recipes fdtd periodic boundaries I guess the periodic boundary condition is not correct. Ez(1)=Ez(Nx)-->Ez(1)=Ez(Nx+1);

    Question about (2D FDTD program with pml )

    w.google.com Sorry I don't know how I can connect toyfdtd. I tried (www.fdtd.org->codes) but can't :( Could you explain that? thx

    Question about (2D FDTD program with pml )

    nikolova 2d fdtd pml part4 www.toyfdtd.com is not working! Is it moved somewhere? and CD of taflove's book contains 2D FDTD example with PML (matlab) I think it is not easy to get the source file written in c. So, I recommend you to read Berenger's original paper. It is easy to understand his...

    How to make a converging or collimating beam in a FDTD program?

    Hi I inserted a (narrow-waisted) gaussian beam (not temporal gaussian) to my FDTD program using TF/SF method. In this case, the beam is diverging. But I have no idea about making the converging or collimating beam. Does anybody have any idea or experience ? Hope any reply :-P

    Extract phase and amplitude in FDTD

    Hi! Can you tell me about extracting phase and amplitude (E,H fields) in FDTD method? Papers, comments and links will be great!!

    FDTD implementation for focused gaussian beam

    focused gaussian beam fdtd Hi all, I'd like to implement (spatially) focused gaussian beam as a incident beam into my FDTD code. For this purpose, what can I do that? I think TF/SF technique is widely used for plane wave implementation but can not be used anymore for gaussian. Am I right? Any...
