hello everyone!
i m going to build a controllable power supply.its maximum output should be 150 V dc.can anybody help me with some suggestion, link or some circuit schematics?
thanks.
Re: what is actuator?
In the field of mechanical engg., actuator doesn't have to be electromagnetic. It can be a pure mechanical device, as long as it produces mechanical work. For example: pneumatic cylinder, etc.
Re: robot mechanical design
I have downloaded some books about robot mechanics from edaboard e-books upload/download. Those books contains good ideas in robot mechanical design. So i think you can use those books as a reference in discussing your problem about robot mechanics.
l298 motor driver datasheet
Thanx for your advice.
Just one more thing, my friend advising me to join the inputs (A&B) and outputs together so that the chip can stand current greater than 3 A. I think that could work, but then i have to use one chip to control only 1 motor.
Any comments?
l298 parallel diode with motor
the first one burnt instsntly, but the other two works for a while then it burnt.
the rating of my motor is 24V/3A
i used MR 820 fasat recovery diodes.
l298 application
hi all,
i'e build a wheeled robot, and i'm going to use l298 to drive the motors of its two wheels. i got the circuit from the internet.
The problem is i have try that circuit three times but the chip always burnt out.
So, help me please...?
Re: Robotic arm
Were you build the robot by yourself or you just bought it? If you bought it , who's the manufacturer then maybe i can help you a little.
degree of freedom robotics
there is another good book (incase you haven't got it yet):
Introduction to Robotics, Mechanics and Control by John J. Craig Published byAddison-Wesley
I agree using cvAVR because it is easy to use, powerful, and it support many chips from AVR and its cost is not very expensive.
try this link:
https://www.dontronics.com
i believe they sell cvAVR too
Actually, you don't have to worry that using a heater will catah fire as long as you do not expose the heater into open and dry air.
Maybe you can try this:
use the heater to boil water and have it heat the inside of the box by passing it through somekind of pipes (the one that conducts heat)...
Re: robotics forum
I think it is because building a robot is not just a mtter of eedback and programming. But the most important is the mechanics of the robot itself. If the mechanics is not good, then no matter how good is your program the result won't be like what you want.
Re: piezo actuator
i've heard that PI (physik instrumente) manefactures the finest piezoactuator in the world. So why don't you try to visit the site:
