I am building a PWM circuit and want to simulate it first before hardware implementation.
Can anyone suggest me which SPICE software include the UC3525 by TI ??
I have B2SPICE but it doesnt list the IC in its library of components. Is there a way to import an external component...
clock stretching of i2c
My reply is quite different from the above two..
Clock stretchin is employd when the slave has read or writtn the data to the master but has to wait to finish the task like for e.g. an ADC converter, it wil employ clock stretching and after it has finishd its task, it...
The input scl clock alone is sufficient to sample the data. All the play of the data depends mainly on the SCL
As jarodz says, the slave pulls down the SCL line and it will so until it has finishd the task it made the master wait or we can employ a time-out clock to relieve the SCL.

i wanna ask tht if i implement an I2C master controller in FPGA with VHDL, how can i determine the speed of the whole thing ??
On wht factors will it depend upon ?? Wil the designing of i2c slave be factor ???

As per the I2C designed by Philips, the Master after receiving the NACK should not send the slave address again and hold both its SDA and SCL lines high. But if you want to design with some other specification like check it certain number of times or check for famliar...
