i have few questions:

1- Whats the difference between HFSS and Ansoft maxwell? i know they are very similar but dont know the difference..

2- Is there any way of interfacing Maxwell or HFSS with MATLAB? does it have automatic built in interface?

Hi,

Ansoft Maxwell is developed for Electrical Industry, It helps in designing Transformers, Generators, the need of it is in different Genre. HFSS is used for Simulating Antenna, SI etc.
About the MATlab link am not sure but, with in the ANSYS products there is a dynamic link to establish.

Ansoft Maxwell is used for Electrical designs likes Transformer, generators etc. It is entirely different genre of usage, where as your HFSS can be used for antenna designs, SI purpose etc.

I am not sure about MAT lab link, With in the ANSYS products we have Dynamic link to make the establishments
 

Hello... My new to this forum ..... can any one help me how to assign port to 2 pifa elements on a patch ...........
