s_function

Hello everybody,

could you please help me out to understand s_function, any handy documents please . i have 5 differential equations related to each other and i would implemented in simulink and i think the best way to use s_function.

go to simulink----->user defined functions----->S-function examples in MATLAB. there you will ffind s-function model with example of format. Dont change the formate, include only the variables that you wanted to add.

Hi everyone
why S-function time response is too slow compared to the simulink block sets?
i have made a m.file programing for the multiplication of the sin wave with gain 2 (i.e2*sint). Also i have modeled the simulink model for the same with minimum step size of 1e-06. when i compare the response time for both, the S-function response is much slower, whike simulink model gives much speed.
Is there any way to increase the speed response of the S-function block?
