Wall is an obstruction.
electric wall means no electricity will be passed
magnetic wall means no magnetic field will pass.

This concept is used in Passive Microstrip circuit design mostly filter design, where you couple two resonators.
Electric wall means you insert a short circuit & magetic wall means there is open circuit..
If you study micristrip structure behaviour you will get this concept.

Ok, this what I have understood, please tell me if I am wrong.
if you see transmission line terminology,
If your end is open then electic field that is voltage is maximum& for short voltage is zero, right?
so if you are using Open circuit then Electric field will dominate right?
Then it can be termed as magnetic wall.
I know I may be wrong but this was how I wam trying to convince myself.
Please let me know if there is other explanation..
Added after 11 minutes:
If there is a side couple filter & you want to couple two microstrip line by magetic field that is by inserting electric wall, what will you do?

I understand that we are not talking about plane symmetry like electric plane and magnetic plane.
Question is about wall. means complete blockage of filed either electric or magnetic.
Your justification is not convincing to me.
For Electric wall simple Perfect conductor is OK as tangential electric field is zero.
For magnetic we may need AMC structure to counter the magnetic filed. time varying magnetic filed can not be blocked by either conductor or dielectic materials.

hi there
well i my view electric wall means there is no tangential electric field but there can be electric field normal to that wall
similarly magnetic wall means there is no tangential magnetic field but there can be magnetic field normall to that wall
i hope this helps
regards
