Hi guys, Greeting! We may faced this problem ever, that is, printed information is normal when AM335X get started, however, when it gets into the catalog, like /etc. /sbin list, if we use ls to list the directory file, it shows many messy codes, but the same situation would disappeared if you start on TF card.

Analysis
This is because the file system is not the same one from Nand flash and TF card starting, Nand flash mounts complete ubi.img when it gets started, instead, the TF card mounts tidy version ramdisk.gz when it gets started, it is greatly cutted on function.
one of the function is colour disposition of Linux command, the executable files shows green on terminal, this is not existed on TF card ramdisk.gz.
If we utilize serial ports assistant, such as SSCOM, it wouldn't help to show colour disposition normally, so , some messy codes would be increased when starting on Nand flash.
How to deal with it?
Easily, we could get a conclusion that:we recommend you to utilize secure CRT, super terminal or minicom to operate AM335X terminal instead of serial ports.
