what is the ''type'' in DC operating point used for?

Dear all,

I was using "Parametric Analysis" to sweep width of a PMOS and when i check the dc operating point, the item "type" caught my eye. I've never paid attention to this before. Can anyone please tell me what this "type" means? Thank you!
