Question For MIMO gurus

What is bandwidth effeciency in MIMO systems strictly speakink for physical layer

Re: Question For MIMO gurus

Hi,

This Could be the ansswer for this question:

In general Bandwidth Efficiency means : C/BW

C - Channel Capacity ; BW - Bandwidth

In case of MIMO this ration will boost up by a factor of rank(H) where H is the channel matrix (this again depends on the type of MIMO and Tx and Rx Antenna Configuration)

Fianlly i can say Bandwidth efficeincy in case of MIMO : rank(H) * (C/BW)
