Weighting Vector in MRC

Hello,

Suppose that the received vector at the input of a MRC combiner is:

\[\mathbf{Y}=\mathbf{h}_B\,G(h_A\,s+n_A)+\mathbf{n}\]

and suppose that all noises power are the same. What is the weighting vector?

Best regards

I can help you if you explain the variables in your equation.

I have a dual-hop system, where the communication between a source and a destination is facilitated by an intermmedate node (relay). The first hop is a Single-Input Single-Output (SISO) link, and the second hop is a Single-Input Multiple-Output (SIMO) link.
Then:
\[Y\]: is an \[N\times 1\] received vector at the input of the destination from the relay.
\[\mathbf{h}\]: is an \[N\times 1\] channel column vector between the relay and the destination.
\[\mathbf{n}\]: is an \[N\times 1\] AWGN column vector with zero-mean vector and co-variance matrix \[N_{0,2}\,I_N\], where \[I_N\] is an \[N\times N\] identity matrix.
\[h_A\]: is the channle coefficient between the source and the relay.
\[n_A\]: is an AWGN at the input of the relay with zero-mean and variance \[N_{0,1}\]
\[G\]: is the amplification factor of the relay node.

Thanks in advance
