Problem: Use the HFSS feature pattern solver for open structures

I'm thinking about how to use the HFSS eigenmode solver for open structures. I learned a lot from the website, thank you.
These links may help answer this question, but I can't answer it.

For open structures, we may need to add PML and air tanks to simulate. But I don't know how to set the PML parameter in the structure.
For example, how do you simulate a feature model solver when a wave guide structure is transformed into a semi-closed model? (Additional analog model)

Expects your response.
Thank you very much.
Good luck.

You want the characteristic mode solver, not an eigenmode solver. The eigenmode solver is for closed (or mostly closed) structures.

ok, I will try it. Thank you very much~
