How microwave is used in electric power generation

Well, you take some deuterium and tritium, confine them in an evacuated doughnut, restrict their movement with big magnetic fields, and heat them up with a microwave beam, extract the heat, run a turnbine and generator, and voila! you have electric power.

Any other questions?
