It is a project of photo frame of own construction.
Main components:
  • stand from plexiglass
  • converter plate with 3,3V for TTL
  • tape output to the processor (temporary tested on an ATB runtime set)

Unilateral communication with displays – only recording. In general, using a little processor with such a display, gives really satisfying effects.
Dynamically loaded fonts were taken from a memory card. Few patterns of fonts in the form of binary files on the card along with the photos.
PetitFAT was used for memory card support. It occupies little space. It has slower support of SD card, but it is not a problem, when double buffering method is used (it is shown on the videos).
Scrolling can be done by futures of the display of WinStar, based on SSD1963.
The microcontroller code was written in C and PC code for font translation in binary or convent images in Delphi.
Photos of frame 3,5” (frame 4,3” is identical with a larger plexi stand).
