time domain trl

Hi to All!
I have a Vector Network Analyzer with two SMA cable.
The DUT has two GPO or SMP Female connector Female so I have to use SMA2SMP(Male) adapter on both port 1 and 2.
I have to de-embend the adaptor so that I measure the S parameters of the DUT only. I have no SMP cal kit (very expensive) only an SMA cal kit. I have 2 bullet SMP(female) of different length so I can plug the two adapters. Then I have of course the two open measurements for the 2 adapters.
Can I implement the TRL with these settings (without the short)?
Or avoid the TRL and try to make time domain gating with VNA in order to gate out the time length of the adaptor?
Thanks a lot!
