Do you know how to view your environmental settings? I wonder if your name with /home/Nithin<space>P suffix is causing problems with path being /home/nithinp/

It looks like you are using Docker with WSL and PS to install a Linux version on Windows. That sounds like a problem for stackexchange.
--- Updated ---

When you get errors, it is your duty to list the OS version and each step that produced these results. (links , commands etc)

I recommend that you follow exactly whatever Skywater
has suggested. If you choose your own adventure, you
may not get the adventure you chose. If need be, get a
laptop and flip it to Linux. Or use your Windows machine
to VNC to some server where things are already set up
right.

I've used the WSL and determined that straight Linux is
a better idea for doing open source tools based IC design.
Clean and lean are your friends. A sandbox situated in the
middle of bloatware is probably not. Wasn't, for me.

Well, Thank you for all the help, I was able to install it successfully yesterday, Also Hope everyone has a great new year

I like my lean & mean Win7 better than Linux running at 98% idle

Guys thank you for all the help, I was able to solve the errors and install the software around January
