Simple vacuum tubes comparator

Sometime ago Danadk guided me of building a small discrete comparator which was very sensitive (100mV or so). I used this comparator in conjunction with a capacitor timing network as shown in the next schematic.

I wonder is I can make something similar using vacuum tubes?
Can you guide me to the right things to look for?
