Hello,

Is there a way to disable unused things in the SIM900 ?

It would be great if my device can do something like this :
When there is enough energy in the superCapa + big sun, the SIM900 connect the GSM network,
and send an SMS and then shutdown.

It seem that the power needed depends of the gsm network signal level. So if I use a hi gain antenna (yagi), it should be better.

Have you ever tried something like this ?

Thank you !

Ju
