SIM800C data call

Hello to all,
i redesigned a device of mine which is an RS232 to GSM. MCU is only for observing NET LIGHT and controls the POWER KEY, the RS232 lines are directly to the GSM module. This allows user to establish a data call between two points using the same device.
The older versions designed with SIM300 and for the new one i chosen the SIM800C.
My problem is that i cannot understand how to make data call with SIM800C.

Are you talking about circuit switched data, established with ATD dial command? The service has been abandoned by most mobile phone companies.
