Resistance value being not practically realisable

Actually, we are currently working on designing efficient XOR, XNOR cells. For the calculation of power, we need to multiply the current and voltage value. So we provided a resistor at the output side to provide a path for current to flow, but the value that we have given is 500K(which is not practically realisable) because any value below 500K was giving non-full swing output. I have attached the picture for reference. Could you please explain why 500K is giving proper output, or in general how does a resistor at the output effect the circuit?

To drive a load, your output stage needs to provide a low-ohm path to a supply rail. To do this the final upper or lower mosfet needs sufficient bias to turn it on. And the opposite mosfet needs to be shut off.

A reasonable goal is to attach a 1k load, and see voltage change by a small amount, say 5 percent.
