I'm trying to use spectre remotely in Virtuoso ADE 6.14.

In the Simulator/Directory/Host window,

I'm starting with an empty local project directory. I specify a host and remote directory that is also empty. When I hit apply, Cadence runs:

rsh user@remotehost -n touch /path/to/simulationremote/755253631

I can verify that it logged in correctly because this 755253631 exists on the remote directory. However, the GUI freezes for about 30 seconds and I get the status message "*WARNING* - Virtuoso® Analog Design Environment: Local directory /path/to/simulationlocal and remote directory /path/to/simulationremote on host foobar do not appear to be the same"

What am I doing wrong here? The help files aren't helpful at all.

Nevermind, realized that I didn't need to use this anymore.
