Hi all,

I am implementing a way to protect my recharger output against reverse battery polarity connection.

I am using a P-MOSFET (low Rds on ON state) and a TIP31C (or any other NPN) as its driver, the way that is shown above.

What do you think about it ? Do you think it could really work ? During simulations (Multisim) it seems to work fine.

Is there any other suggestion?

Thank you

Hi Dude
Transistor Q1 may not ON becoz Vbe will not be >0.7 while battery is connect in normal position.

I am sorry. That was my fault when I built the schematics!

Now it is fixed!
