Hey guys, Can someone help me in doing this? Thankyou!!

The digipot ic that im using is MCP41010. Its an spi interface, I have to vary the gain using 8 bits, combinations of 0's and 1's. This is given to the PIC16F877A as inputs. The output from the controller are sck, si and CS (chip select), These pins when i m connecting it to the digipot ic, im getting noise. Can anybody tell me why im getting noise and how can i rectify it? Is there any current limitation problem?
