I am using Cadence ic5141 on Linux and when I annotate DC operating
point, the number of significant digits is huge (for example, instead
of 10.245u, it would annotate 10.24523484374937257u). Does anyone know
how to solve it and what is the reason?

Try this:

envSetVal("auCore.misc" "labelDigits" ‘int 5)
in your CIW window. Should set the number of significant digits to 5.

Regards!

thanks a lot

I am on a vacation now. When I come back to work, I will try ur solution.

It doesn't work.

*Error* eval: unbound variable - \"labelDigits\"

Added after 2 minutes:

It works.

Thanks a lot trackerOne!

Glad it works!

If you want to have it set by default to the desired format, you can add the setting to your .cdsenv as follows:
auCore.misc labelDigits int 5
But you probably did already :)

oh, Great! That will be better by setting it as default.

aelPushSignifDigits(5)

type this in your CIW window.
