Hi Guys,

I just want to ask, is it possible to upgrade the N-CH Mosfet Rating of Power Supply

from Original Specs:

N-CH Mosfet
Vdss=500V
Id=24A
Rds(on)=.25ohms

Then, Change to this Rating
Vdss=1200V
Id=40A
Rds(on)=.08ohm

I'm quite confuse if this power supply can still work perfectly if I made some changes of this unit.

Thanks a lot! Hope you can give me some idea.

Hi Frank,

The 2 Power Mosfet is part of the Inverter ckt of the Power Supply. Actually the output of the PS is 600V and it's current rating is 1.6amps w/ respect to it's output capability.

What are the other things that I need to consider before installing the Power Mosfet that I will install?
