Background:

Mentor Graphics consulting team provides consultation services in various areas in the IC Design flow. Our customers include top tier IC design and fabrication houses across the world. An important activity within the consulting team is providing SoC design consultation services in the fields of Physical Synthesis, Place&Route and Chip Assembly.

Job Description:

The team is expanding in the field of digital design consultation services. The prospective candidate should have solid knowledge of physical synthesis and Place&Route methodologies; with proven record of related experience (fresh graduates with related coursework and graduation project are also welcomed to apply). The prospective candidate should be comfortable with chip floor planning, physical synthesis, place&Route, timing and physical verification.

Job Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of floor planning, physical synthesis and place & route

· Good knowledge of standard cells libraries and LEF/DEF formats

· Good knowledge of timing analysis and STA tools.

· Knowledge of VLSI design flow (synthesis, DFT, place and route, physical verification, etc.)

· Good Knowledge of Calibre physical verification tool suit (DRC, LVS, xRC, LFD) is a plus

· Shell Scripting, TCL/TK and Unix Knowledge



General Qualifications:

· B.Sc/M.Sc. of Electronic Engineering

· Graduation Grade: Excellent or Very Good with Honors

· Mastering English language written/spoken

· Team work capability and high communication skills

· Energetic, enthusiastic and able to work under difficult or adverse situations

· High communication skills with international customers

· Ability to travel short/long terms
