opa277 -> single or dual supply?

My opinion is that each opamp can be biased with single supply !
Why not ? The only point is if the unit is OPTIMIZED for such a operation.

how may it differ in performance? If it is not so bad i can use it.

Since the bias point for single supply is not at ground potential but around Vdd/2 you have to use a coupling capacitor - with the consequence of a corner frequency (high pass amplifier). More than that, the input resistance goes down.

Obviously. Manufacturers usually designate OPs with input and output voltage range near to negative supply as suited for single supply operation, LM324 is a traditional example from low-performance OP series.

Dual Supply Op- Amp can be biased from single supply
but if you are using i.e. 0-12 it will respond to the signal between this range negative signals will not be treated .
where as single supply op-amps can work in this regard
