Re: Linux Question

Are you interested in a certain command? Or a certain distribution that has an option like the one you posted?

Re: Linux Question

I am already using Fedora Core 3 so i am asking if there is certain commands to do that, thanks

Re: Linux Question

i m not sure abt hibernation like command but f the processor is free for some time den fc4 itself turn of the monitor and hddisk so its some sort of automatic standby or call it hibernation....

Re: Linux Question

Try to install ACPI utilities like acpid and sleepd.

I am able to use them in my Debian system. But for hibernate you had to have support from the kernel.
