how to tame linux device drivers

dear all
i have to start building device drivers for linux but i am in lack of resources . you are requested to ps share any good site or material that would be helpful in understanding the very basic framework of device drivers.

ps dont refer to allesendro , rubini

and also your suggestions on how to start learning dds in an efficient manner will be welcome

hope to c some useful posts from u all out there!

There is a book from Alessandr Rubini named "Linux Device Drivers".
Its available to download at https://lwn.net/Kernel/LDD3/.
Every thing you need to write driver in new 2.6.x series kernel is available there.
