how to start designing microwave switch?

design microwave switch

hi all,

may i know how to start design microwave switch?
i don't know from what i can start to design the switch
right now i need to design SPDT (single pole double throw) switch
but i don't know how to start. i don't have experience to design microwave switch
so hope anyone can give advise to me how to do the microwave switch

If it is an easy switch, just wing it. If it is a complicated switch (high isolation, low loss, broad bandwidth, fast switching) hire a ompetent consultant to design it for you.
