Changing DC V & mAh

How can i convert a DC output of 9v 800mAh to 3.6v 600mAh. I know just enough
to follow a SIMPLE explanation. Thanks alot. Make that real simple!

Re: Changing DC V & mAh

An LM317 is a voltage regulator IC that can have its output voltage adjusted to 3.6V. Its output current can be up to 1.5A.
You need a second LM317 set as a 600mA current regulator to limit the current to 600mA if your load tries to draw more.
