linux for atom processor

Please share your experience if you have.

which version of linux does cadence require

I don't know what Cadence is, but installing linux into ATOM system is straight forwad as normal 386 system!

I've already install Kubuntu into ATOM PC without any problem, you can boot this linux distribute via the USB flash disk.

linux for atom cpu

Cadence makes EDA software.
I have not run any sesign software on an Atom platform but I have run it on slow laptops and the experience is not good. I would not recommend this.

does linux run on atom processor

Cadence software works fine. I've tested and installed SPB16.2 using a 1.2-1.8GHz Atom processor. If you want it to work well, I recommend more memory for windows vista or more hd swap space using linux.
