Digital Design Engineer (DDE01)
Swiftronix, an IC Design center in Cairo (Sheraton Heliopolis area), is working exclusively for Synopsys© to provide a broad portfolio of implementation IP, verification IP and hardened PHYs. As we build on our continued success, we need to grow to accommodate the demand for our IC design services. We are seeking exceptional team members who are eager to work on cutting edge projects utilizing latest technologies and tools. If you are an experienced digital RTL designer, and if you are motivated, energetic, and excited about modern chip design, come join our team of top notch engineers working closely with teams in Canada, North America and around the globe.
We are looking for highly motivated and innovative digital designer with strong theoretical and practical background in digital design. Working as both an individual and a team member, the candidate will be involved in designing digital circuits. The position offers excellent opportunity to work with an expert team of digital designers responsible for delivering high-end digital designs from specification development to performing functional and performance tests.
Some overseas travel for training and meetings might be required.
Job Responsibilities:
As a member of our Digital Design team, and after attending appropriate training, you will be expected to:
1. RTL coding, modelling of digital blocks, and writing complex system-level test-benches in Verilog.
2. Resolving STA (Static Timing Analysis) issues and gate-level simulations.
3. Interacting with customer support and back-end design teams.
4. Communicate clearly and frequently in English.
5. Be self-motivated, proactive, and able to balance great design with meeting tight deadlines.
6. Meet strict quality and schedule requirements.
7. Produce exceptional results as an individual and team contributor.
Qualifications:
1. BSc in Electronics/Computer Engineering plus at least 3 years of digital design experience on real products
2. Good experience in writing complex test-cases.
3. Good experience in writing Verilog models.
