dc_shell command to synthesis a Simple Microprocessor Design

Hi

Could any one tell me the design compiler command to synthesis a Simple Microprocessor Design.

The library name : sim_dat.db
VHDL file name : sample.vhd

i need the design compiler commands to synthesis this vhdl file and need to get its gatelevel net list.

Thanks for your reply,

I already having this document with me. i having a few doubts in that.

I am going to synthsis my own library(db) with the VHDL Code. is there any need
of setting all those constraints that mentioned in that document.

i am having only having clock, reset and ir_word as input.

Actually i am testing my own library that i generated.

And i have to generate the gate level netlist.............
