conformal lec check of multiplier

Dear all,
In my design RTL there are datapth elements which likes c=a*b.
When the data width becomes wiser it takes expotional time longer.
Who has experience how to use derective in both DC synthesis and lec to make this progroess faster, please help.
Also what document can you share me? thanks

I am puzzled by this too.
Waiting for some suggestions.

In LEC, an Ultra Liscence must be used to compare complicated"*", otherwise it will end with abort.
In my current solution, I don't use any "*" at all. I design the multiplier by hand, then the problem solved with no abort in LEC.

But this is not the best answer.

hi did u tried the following swtiches in LEC
vpx set datapath option -auto -verbose

vpx analyze multiplier -cdp_info

vpx analyze datapath -effort high
Am not familier with DC , but use LEC, and when the data paths becomes critical these commands will help to analyze more ,,

am confused with " i design multiplier by hand"
what u mean by this,,, r u going to generate all the backend views for this or only front end views,, can u take some pain in elaborating how do u design multiplier
