I am using tsmc180 technology and in the layout, when I place a capacitor, it shows that "Need a valid register+number from TSMC".
Any idea about this issue??
I'd guess that a parametric interdigitated MOM cap needs fancy code
and embeds in the code a set of process info, that they have chosen
some form of licensing to "protect".
So I'd go talk to whoever handles that kind of tools / licenses / PDK
support at your shop.
