Hi,

Gsm900 band is divided into 124 (200KHz) parts. Does it mean that each BTS uses a single specific 200KHz carrier for signaling with mobile phones. How many user can be handled by a single BTS and how.

No One BTS uses more than one 200 khz carrier depend on the frequency Reuse factor and cell planning of any compony..

Typically One BTS can Handle 50 to 90 user it also depend on the frequcy reuse factor and how many channel are allocated do perticular company..

one bts can handle 60 to 90 customer .it is also depend on the the trx allocation and sdcch channel allocation oh the bts

How many bcch channels are present in a bts site with more than one 200KHz physical carrier?
