about GSM interface to a microcontroller

how can i program a microcontroller (ATmega32L) to communicate to a mobile phone such as Nokia models? can you please send me some samples and even some program that can i try it. for example, what ever the value of the microcontroller that is attach to a mobile phone then the phone will send information to the other phone via SMS(Text).

how can i program this?
