Currently, I am designing a Waveguide adaptor that required to use of the 1.85 mm connector at the end launch.
In the simulation, I need to design the coax which has exactly the same dimension as the 1.85 mm to ensure a small discrepancy after fabrication.
From the simulation, the result changed accordingly when attach to a 1.85mm connector and another coax with (50-ohm). Actually, there is a transition inside the connector itself, which is one reason behind this, but I don't know that transition, and it's not given in the datasheet.
Anyone who has experience or is used to being familiar with this kind of connector.
What is the inner transition of coax dimension? Most air diameter.
And in simulation, Do I need to consider this transition or not?
I have attched one datasheet too for discussion.
Your support in this matter is highly appreciated.

Thank you!
