non-linear device models: gbjt

Hi! I want to simulate the circuit of LNA. Therefore, I need the file that inculde the S-parameter. Does someone could tell me where should I get it? TKS.

gbjt datasheet

S2p files are available for devices such as transistors, diodes etc.
Which transistor u r using?
u can get the S2p files from website of the company(check your transistor company name).
tell me if u still have problem.

ads model for bfg425w

Dear Sir:
The Transistor's model name is BFG425W. The name of bender is philips. I can't find any sources that provide the file. Could u tell mee where should I get it? TKS

ads transistor model bfg425w

give me the specification u need.
for exapmle Vgs=2v Id=10mA etc.
I wil search for u

Added after 7 minutes:

which software u r using?
Agilent Genesys2006 provides library for this transistor.
Just check.
lot varieties r there for this transistor in that software.

open s2p files

Hi!Sir:
I only found the datasheet(Pls see attached file) that IC have. In fact, I don't know what kinds of parameter I need when I simulate? Therefore, could u tell me what kinds of parameter that I need? BTW, my simualtion tool is Microwave office. Thanks ur help.

bias with s2p ads

check this link

u can take help from the guy who posted this topic.
He has used the same transistor & has s parameter files
best of luck

microwave.office s2p

Hello Jesterhsu,

It is very easy to even get the accurate Nonlinear Model in Microwave Office of the mentioned device...
Go to MWO Elements -> Nonlinear -> BJT -> choose GBJT device & then enter the spice parameters provided in the Device Datasheet Page No. 9...

Then Bias the model using your bias conditions (IC = 25 mA; VCE = 2 V.)then if it is matching the datasheet response...

Then use it in your LNA design schematic with Matching network...

Hope this solves your problem,....

how does companies generate s2p files

Hi Manjunatha_hv,
I follow your suggestion to key the conditions in the Microwave Office. But, the result is still wrong for me. Does some one could tell me how should I do?

gbjt element

Hello Jesterhsu,

Attached is the requested zip file having *.S2P file and the corresponding MWO project file *.emp & also you can download other s-parameter files from the folllowing link...

**broken link removed**

I hope this helps...

s2p files

Hi! Manjunatha_hv,
Thanks for your help. I will try it. TKS.

Hi! Manjunatha_hv,
Could u tell me how ti import this device to MW? And why I can find the same prats as the reference file? The reference file will show what kinds of parts that I can't find. Does any possible I make any mistake that cause the different result? TKS.

I can only get from your post that
you want to impement this circuit in microwave office.
Is this you want?
I think the circuit you have shown is implemented in ADS.

you should use the DC Voltage Source available in Elements -> Sources -> DC -> DCVS

Regarding the other one it is just a termination port....
After seeing the ADS schematic which you posted...You need to use NL (spice) model instead os S-parameter file...

I just uploaded the updated MWO project file (*.emp)...complete the design according to your requirements...

Hi Manjunatha_hv,
Thanks your so clearly expesssion. But the file that you attached I can't open it. My MO's version is 2002. Does it have any version issue? TKS.
