waveform type must be specified

V5: Waveform type must be specified if any waveform parameters are given.


I did not do anything and think that it is bug in my doftware...


I wish i am wrong!

What do u think?

What type is it talkin abt?

It is recognising all other instances except 1 wid same properties!

suggest you putting this question to EDA software board, you might find some support there...
 

cadence v0: waveform type must be specified

Maybe the V5 waveform type is not defined. it is a bug in old version cadence. You can copy the V5 from the analogLib to your own lib, then edit the CDF of V5, you can define the waveform type

you should do this in your terminal:

setenv netlistMode  Analog
 

spectre waveform type must be ...

or it can be done in this way also....
when you spectre, the design environment is not set up to analog hence creating above mentioned error.
but when you spectres it will be done autometically when you simulate your ckt first time.
hence do one thing before simulating with spectre, simulate without selecting any analysis simulate with spectreS so it will setup environment to analog.

Hey guys,

dnt complicate things !! Its very simple. Just go to simulation folder and delete the psf files.
Some junk previous outputs r there. Remove that and enjoy the simulations !!
