Need 1ghz divider to 1mhz or less than?

hi to all
first of all i like this board. :)

i need a high frequency divider i want to divide 1ghz to 1mhz or 500khz.
may be u peopls not understand my post so i clear it as my words.

i can use CD4017 for divide upto 10x but i know cd4017 is not working at 1ghz
so simply i need like this IC which work at high frequency..

search google for "prescaler", or simply look for example to texas instrumetns page for high speed logic counters .

please explain more if u have any spacific ic.
because i am new in electronics (digital ).
 

search minicircuits and infineon. They have ICs for the uWave spectrum.
