Hi all,

Could anyone help to explain the terms of the total negative setup slack and the fast , worst negative setup slack in Astro tool, and what is difference between them?

Thanks

total is sum of all slack values..........while worst is the "WORST SLACK NUMBER "

Dear p_shinde,

Thanks for your suggestion,i copy a section of timing report from astro as the following

Code:
ASTSUM: Setup Hold Num Num
ASTSUM: Slack Num Total Slack Num Trans MaxCap
ASTSUM: -15.080 291 -2778.7 0.627 0 1366 473

I think -15.080 indicates the worst setup slack value, 292 is the total number of negative setup slack, and -2278.7 is sum of all negative setup slack, please correct me if i am wrong.

By the way,do you kown any about another iterm of "data-and-clock mixing",if yes, could you explain it in details?

Regards

thanks,
Prasad
